Jammu , Oct 23: The Border Security Force (BSF) on Sunday paid homage to slain jawan Gurnam Singh who passed away after being injured in cross border firing by Pakistan in Jammu. BSF personnel laid wreaths on the coffin of the BSF constable who was shot at in retaliation for a sniper attack along the international border in Kathua district. Meanwhile, sister of Gurnam, Gurjeet Kaur appealed the government to construct a hospital in the name of her brother. Earlier, Gurnam's father Kulbir Singh said his brave son has sacrificed for the nation. He lamented that the hospitals where soldiers are treated do not have proper facilities.
