Meeting of teaching faculty held

JAMMU, Nov 16: A meeting of all teaching faculty members on staff was convened under the chairmanship of JK Sudan, Joint Director (Trainings)/Principal, SIE Jammu in presence of RK Sharma Assistant Professor, State Coordinator J&K State from Regional Institute of Education, NCERT, Ajmer.
Principal SIE Jammu welcomed R.K.Sharma who were on the visit to observe the educational needs of the Jammu Division of the state for providing academic support from RIE Ajmer and apprised upon them various training programmes/ workshops conducted by SIE Jammu during the year 2017-18 till date.
Subsequently, proposed training programmes/workshops as per identified needs of the state and formulated by all wings of SIE Jammu were discussed with RK Sharma. However, Emphasis was laid upon formulation of Key Resource Persons at SIE Jammu with the support of NCERT New Delhi/ RIE Ajmer who in turn shall cascade the same at District Level. Highlighting the need of creation of teacher education cadre for those who have undergone various training programmes and stressed upon retention of trained personnel in their respective institutions viz SIE/DIETs. During the conclusion of the meeting, Detailed Proposed Action Plan for the year 2018-19 in respect of Jammu Division formulated was submitted to R.K.Sharma for the PAC NCERT to be approved by MHRD GOI
