Early Times Report

Kishtwar, Jan 1: Unemployed youths of District Kishtwar have strongly criticized the callous attitude of Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar, Angrez Singh Rana towards unemployed and has demanded his immediate transfer.
Joginder Bhandari a prominent youth leader of District Kishtwar while speaking a meeting of office bearers said that as and when any person approaches the Deputy Commissioner in his office he use unparlimentary ,language misbehave with the applicants even he also used to beat and threatens to lodge FIR, such a behavior of this deputy commissioner has caused a brewing resentment among the general masses since he has been appointed as DC Kishtwar, not a single day passes when he has not misbehaved with the applicants. Bhandari said that Deputy Commissioner office is a public office and the doors should be open for all the public but the said DC under the cover of security personnel used to close the door of his office and visitors are asked by his security to deposit mobile phones before entering in the office. He said the Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar is a Chairman of RR plan of Pakal Dul hydroelectric project and he is supposed to deal compensation & employment of affected families whose land & structures have come under the alignment of the project but it is a matter of great concern that he is acting as Chairman of AFCONS company and all appointments are being made on the directions of the Deputy Commissioner.
