Kishtwar, Jan 1: Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Angrez Singh Rana and senior BJP leader hurled abuses at each other at DC office here on Tuesday. According to the details available with Early Times, BJP leader Tariq Keen who unsuccessful contested the 2014 Assembly elections and is holding the state level post in BJPs Muslim Morcha approach the DC Kishtwar Angrez Singh Rana with the complaint that solar lights provided by the JKEEDA are being distributed through political workers of particular parties and through defeated Sarpanch.
During the course of the discussion, DC Kishtwar reportedly hurled some abuses at BJP leader which resulted into the heated arguments between them.
The eyewitnesses said that DC Kishtwar summoned his personal security officers and directed them to throw the BJP leader out of his office chamber and handover him to police.
Keen's PSOs also rushed inside the office chamber of DC Kishtwar whcih resulted into the chaos as the official on duty kept on watching as mute spectator's as both also exchange blows and tried to hold on each other clothes.
After seeing the situation turning hostile, the PSOs of DC Kishtwar bolted Keen inside the retiring room of DC Kishtwar and also took his mobile phone.
The eyewitnesses said that after bolting Keen inside the room, DC Kishtwar rushed to attend some official meeting through Video Conference.
The eyewitnesses said that the news spread like a wild fire and some of the BJP leaders including Sarpach Kishori Lal Shan rushed to the rescue of Keen who was later allowed by the security men to move outside the room.
DC Kishtwar reportedly also called the police to arrest the BJP leader, but Kishtwar police according to sources turned a deaf ear towards DC Kishtwar's call as the officer has become liability for Kishtwar police due to his routine abusive behaviour with officials and people visiting him for grievances.
"Let me see who among the police will come and dear to arrest me-- let's see" Keen reportedly shouted at DC Kishtwar.
After being allowed to move, Tariq Keen invited some media persons for a Press Conference at Dak Banglow Kishtwar, but due to interference of RSS and other BJP leader, Keen called off the scheduled press conference as DC Kishtwar is considered close of MoS PMO Dr Jitenndra Singh beside also to former MLA Kishtwar.
The sources said that Keen also approached senior police officials demanding registration of FIR against DC Kishtwar for confining him to illegal and forceful custody, but did not submit any written complaint.
The sources also said DC Kishtwar on the intervention of some senior BJP leader though apologized to Keen for his rude and abusive behaviour, but Muslim Morcha leader is yet to take a final call on the apology tendered by DC Kishtwar Angrez Singh Rana.
It is pertinent to mention that DC Kishtwar is known for his abusive and aggressive behaviour and in recent past several protests were held against him, but the Government has not transferred him.
