Early Times Report Srinagar, Jan 1: The Government sought objections to declared temple/ spring near Sukhnag Government Girls, Higher Secondary School, Iddgah Pattan, Baramulla, alongwith land measuring as "State Protected Monu-ment". The notification in this regard has been issued by Commissioner Secretary to Government Department of Culture department in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3 of the Jammu & Kashmir Ancient Monuments Pres-ervation Act, Samvat, 1977(1920-AD). The notification has been passed on the recommendations of the Director, Archives, Archaeology & Museums, Jammu & Kashmir. " (Government) intends to declare "temple/ spring near Sukhnag Government Girls, Higher Secondary School, Iddgah Pattan, Baramulla, alongwith land measuring 09 Marlas (Ahl-Hanood) falling under Khasra No. 3574;) as "State Protected Monument" within the meaning of the said Act," reads the notification The department has sought objections from the general public to the proposal within a period of two months.
