Highly placed sources in police department as well as various Intelligence agencies revealed that “certain inputs collected from various sources indicated that Ranjeet Singh Neeta is under tremendous pressure of Pakistan’s ISI agency to bring back to life the ill-activities of KZF especially in Jammu.”

KISHTWAR Jan 6: Two former Lashker-e-Taiba (LeT) ultras have again become active and joined Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) cadres.
Police sources said former LeT militants -- Shanawaz Khandey (28) alias Bilal, son of Ghulam Mohammad Khandey of Suzna, Palmar, and Mohammad Rafiq (30), son of Abdul Rashid of Gursana, Sarthal, -- had joined Hm in Kishtwar district.
Both of them were missing since second week of December last and had been declared as active militants, the sources added.
Before his arrest in 2007, Shanawaz was associated with LeT. He was later jailed but was bailed out by court in 2010. Rafiq had surrendered before police here in November 2003.
