Early Times Reporter Jammu | Feb 22 If a leading Kashmir-born US settled cardiologist is to be believed, the Valley of Kashmir is awaiting a special guest this summer –the emerging democratic and former Pakistan Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharief. Dr Fayaz Shawl, head of the Cardiovascular Medicine at George Washington University in US has says that Nawaz Sharief has Kashmir on his itinerary for the forthcoming summer. He has claimed himself to be a close friend of Nawaz Sharief –the hot contender for Pakistan Prime Minister post. The non resident Kashmir doctor is planning to being up heart hospital in Srinagar for which he said that Nawaz Sharief, Mufti Mohammad Sayeed and Sachin Tendulkar are supporting him. “I will not declare the place where the hospital will be located as I have not yet got the permission, but I want the hospital to be attached with the SKIMS. Early Times Reporter Jammu | Feb 22 CRPF personnel recovered an improvised explosive device (IED) an hour before the scheduled visit of UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi and Union Home Minister Shivraj Patil to Bhaderwah town of Doda district today. During the sanitisation operation for the visit, CRPF troops recovered an IED at Daligarh, three kms from Bhaderwah town, an hour before arrival of Gandhi and Patil there to assess the ground situation following heavy snowfall and avalanches in the beginning of this month, they said. The IED was hidden in the snow and fitted with a detonator to trigger the blast, they said, adding that a possible explosion would not have directly affected...
