Jammu May 5 Cautioning the Governor of the State and others who oppose the demilitarization stand of the People’s Democratic Party, the party without naming any individual underscored that those who are opposing it should not create confusion over the issue keeping in view the union government has established three Committees to review the situation. Irked over the remarks made by the Governor of State on the demilitarization, the Jammu PDP leadership here today stated that people are being misled over demilitarization by certain elements. Addressing a press conference at party head office here today, Rangil Singh senior vice president PDP flanked with the other senior party functionaries said that time and again the statements are pouring from various sides about the demilitarization of the state. Tourist found dead

Srinagar, May 05 A sixty-two year old tourist was found dead under mysterious circumstances in a hotel room, here last night. T Narsima Raju, age 62 years. Son of T Jagarnath of Vishakapatnam was found dead in room No. 207 of Modern Hotel Rajbagh under the jurisdiction of police station Rajbagh, police sources told News Agency of Kashmir. His body was shifted to hospital for post-mortem and police was investigating the reason behind the death. However, preliminary investigations conducted so far indicated that he might have died due to cardiac arrest, sources added. ...

Srinagar, May 05 Criticizing Hurriyat for staying out from the Roundtable Conference, PCC president and Minister for Education, Hajj and Auqaf , Peerzada Muhammad Sayeed today accused it of creating hurdles in the peace process initiated by central leadership for restoring ever lasting peace in the state.
