Rise in infiltration bids to put Intelligence, Security agencies on toes

Govind Chouhan Jammu June 5 Infiltration bid on the Line of Control (LoC) at Kanga Gali in Manjakote of Rajouri district last night in which four heavy armed infiltrators were gunned down by the security forces has invited attentions of not only security agencies but also from the common masses in the state. The recent spurt in the infiltration and the increased terror violence has led the people and the security agencies to sense a deeper game plan to resurrect the terror regime in the the state. With Mufti Mohammed Sayeed of PDP, a coalition partner of Congress in the J&K government, pushing for troop reduction, security agencies including army fear the surge in infiltration may be an "ominous" about the future to come. In recent past fortnight not only infiltration bids were foiled in various sectors of the state but security forces recovered a large quantity of ammunition and automatic weapons along with the other accessories including wire cutter and wireless sets and satellite phones from hide outs and during the infiltration bids foiled. The reason: Activists and supporters of the Deendar Anjuman continue to be inspired by, or loyal to, Syed Zia-ul-Hassan, A Mardan-based Pakistani national and elder son of Deeendar Anjuman's founder, Syed Siddique Deendar Channabasveshwar.
