| Rajender Tiku meets Governor | | | | SRINAGAR: Mr. Rajender Tiku, a Sculptor who is well known all over the country, called on Mr. N. N. Vohra, Governor, at Raj Bhavan here today.
During their meeting, the Governor and Mr. Tiku discussed the measures required to be taken for the promotion of art and aesthetics in Jammu and Kashmir. Mr. Tiku briefed the Governor about the photograph series, “Earth Pictures”, which he is presently working on and about his latest sculptures. He presented to the Governor two photographs of the “Earth Pictures” series and informed that he is organizing an exhibition of his latest sculptures in New Delhi later this year. He also informed the Governor about his forthcoming assignment as a Visiting Professor at the Musashino Art University, Tokyo. SRINAGAR, July 11 : According to District Magistrate Srinagar, in the interest of health care of patients under Cigarettes and Other Tobacco Products Act (COTPA), 2003, the sale of cigarettes and other tobacco products within 100 yards of all Hospitals is banned.
