SRINAGAR, Aug 13 : While security arrangements have been tightened up in Srinagar and other district headquarters in the Kashmir valley, there are no specific inputs about militant attack on August 15, Director General of Police said Saturday.
"Inputs keep coming but there are no specific inputs (about any militant attack on August 15. But we will endeavour to provide foolproof security in connection with the function," Kuldeep Khoda, the DGP, told reporters in response to a question on sidelines of a dress rehearsal function here.

| | 4 killed, 21 hurt in road accidents | | | JAMMU, Aug 13: Three persons were killed after an oil tanker last evening skidded off the national highway at Karole in Ramban, about 160 km from here towards Srinagar, due to slippery road conditions and fell into the mighty Chenab river. In other road mishaps, one person was killed and 22 others were wounded, some of them critically, since last evening.
SP (Ramban) Anil Magotra said an oil tanker last evening skidded off the highway at Karole and fell into Chenab. The ill-fated tanker (JK02Q/8805) was on its way from Leh to Jammu. The SP said though three persons were said to be on board the tanker, only one body had been recovered so far.
