| Hang Guru as well, nation urges GOI | | | early times report JAMMU, Nov 22: With the execution of Pak terrorist Ajmal Kasab involved in Mumbai blast yesterday the demand for hanging of Afzal Guru the mastermind of Parliament attack has gained momentum with various political parties and social organisations demanding his immediate execution. The Government of India is under constant pressure to execute Guru as he does not deserve the mercy and has done same heinous crime as Ajmal Kasab. While reacting to the execution of Ajmal Kasab, the BJP, Shiv Senas as well as various Kashmiri Pandit organisations termed it a welcome step and demanded that a tough action be taken against the terrorists and those sponsoring it. The Government should take tough action against the terrorists and not show any leniency to them, a BJP spokesman said. He said terrorism sponsored by Pakistan has created a lot of devastation in the country for over last two decades and India is paying through the nose and it should now tight its noose against terrorists as well as the country sponsor of terrorism. He also demanded that following the same policy the GOI should also initiate action against the condemned prisoner Afzal Guru the mastermind of Parliament blast. Guru has done a heinous crime and he is involved in attacking India's Parliament the temple of democracy in the country. The same has been the contention of Shiv Sena Bal Thackeray, Shiv Sena Hindustan, Hindustan Shiv Sena and KP organisations who demanded immediate hanging of Guru. They said Guru deserved no mercy and delaying his execution will not only send a wrong signal but also embolden the terrorists and Pakistan . Moreover, the Government should not show any leniency towards Pakistan which has been the mother of terrorism and responsible for all the devastation created in India for over last two decades. ``We don't subscribe to GOI's view of holding dialogue with Pakistan as it has not stopped aiding and abiding terrorism'', said a spokesman of Sena. He said Pakistan has violated all norms and international conventions by waging a proxy war against India and when its involvement has been proved time and again and entire world knows this fact. Despite the international pressure Pakistan failed to act and it continued to send the armed desperados in India. So it is high time for GOI to act tough against terrorists and Pakistan without caring for international opinion as India can't afford the terrorist attacks any more, said a Sena leader.
