| J&K, Kerala Ranji tie evenly poised | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Dec 9: With J&K already ahead of Kerala by 120 runs with seven wickets in hand in their second innings, the Ranji Trophy Group-C tie seems evenly poised as the game can go to any side in the next two day of the play at Perintalmanna Cricket Stadium, Malappuram in Kerela.Having taken first innings lead of 52 runs after bowling out Kerela for 163 runs today, J&K could not make it a good start in their second innings. When the stumps were drawn, J&K had already lost three wickets for 68 runs in 26 overs play. However, with skipper and centurion in the first innings, Ian Dev Singh still at the crease batting at 34, J&K could hope for a competitive target for the opponent. Three of J&K batsmen, who lost their early wickets were opener, Adil Rishi (02), Bandeep Singh (00) and Parvez Rasool (21). Earlier, Parvez Rasool and Mohd Mudhasir bowled extremely good spell to take away three wickets each. Manik Gupta and Waseem Raza also did a fine job by securing two wickets each.
