Jammu, Dec 9: NSF today flayed Controller Examination Jammu University for failing to declare results of students of the departments of Economics, English, Sociology, Maths, Geography, MCA 4th semester and 2nd semester. Addressing the media persons here today, District President NSF Narinder Singh alleged that the University was playing with the future of these students. "There is no seriousness in examination wing. Students who appeared in 4th and 2nd semester examination are suffering as they would not be able to take admission for further studies in another university outside the state as there results have not been declared," he said. Singh said that students had approach the Controller Examination several times "but to no avail." He alleged that question papers of Urdu and Economics 1st semester were leaked recently. "University authorities are showing no concern about such issues. Entrance test for PhD was held in the Business School. 55 students appeared in the examination but it was strange to see that no one could qualify the exam. It was nothing but a predetermined strategy to make the students without NET out. As per UGC guidelines, university has to admit the students for PhD on the basis of Entrance Test as well," Singh added. |
