udhampur, Dec 11: Two persons sustained injuries in separate road accidents here today.
One Rattan Lal son of Sita Ram of Laddan sustained injuries when a Motorcycle he was riding hit by an Ambulance of Air force Station at Dhar Road opposite State Bank of India, Udhampur.
Local people took the injured to District Hospital.
In another road mishap, one Army jawan got injured when he got trapped under a truck which overturned after colliding with a car at Vikram bridge, Near Chopra Shop, Udhampur.
According to sources, an Alto car bearing Registration No JK 02L -5671 was on its way from Jammu to Srinagar collided with a truck bearing Reg. No. JK 03-5671 at Vikram Bridge, near Chopra shop.
After the collision truck overturned on road due to which Army Jawan of ROP who was performing his duty nearby got trapped and received injuries. He was shifted to Military Hospital, Udhampur where his condition was stated to be stable. The passengers of Alto car escaped unhurt. |
