| Assembly session not possible in old complex: Speaker | | 'Alternative options being explored' | | early times report
Jammu, Dec 11: Upset by the developments that shook the entire Assembly Secretariat today after vital portions of the complex damaged, the Speaker of the Assembly MA Lone said that a probe would be ordered to find out causes and circumstances that led to happening of the incident. He said the JKPCC would be given opportunity to explain the reasons for the lapse that caused damaged to the historical building despite their assurances there was no threat to it. The Speaker also said the government would also expeditiously consider the options for alternative arrangements for Budget session of the Assembly . Admitting that the entire existing complex was unsafe , the Speaker said it was now out of question and unthinkable to have next Budget session conducted in the premises. He said they would consider from available options, most suitable place for convening the session.
