Arun Trisal Kathua, Dec 11: Chief Minister's Advisor, Davender Singh Rana speaks good English. But many brows were raised when he used a ‘controversial’ Hindi word while addressing workers here today. He said that present government was the coalition between two sampardayak forces (yeh coalition do sampardayak taqato ki hai). He also said that the people of Jammu & Kashmir want to go with sampardayak forces (Jammu Kashmir ke log sampardayak taqato ke saath jaana chahati hai). Rana perhaps does not know that Sampardayak is also coined with reference to communalism. He , however, contradicted himself by stating, "The NC-Cong coalition wants to bring democratic and secular culture for establishing a peaceful and prosperous atmosphere of JK state." Now, who will do the damage control? The Chief Minister's Hindi is also very weak and so is Soz's. Rana's `misadventure' with Hindi may trigger a political controversy. It has raised a question mark over NC-Cong approach. Unmindful of the controversy he is about to generate, Rana assured workers a fair deal. He even warned the officers not to leave their station as it subjected people to inconvenience.
