Jammu, Dec 11: J&K Plus 2 Lecturers' Forum has supported the strike call of Joint Consultative Committee (JCC) on December 14 and 15. In a statement a spokesperson of the Forum said a meeting was held under the chairmanship of Forum President N S Jamwal where it was unanimously decided to support the strike call given by JCC. He appealed all the Districts Presidents of the Forum to make the strike successful.
Speaking on the occasion Jamwal appealed to the Government to fulfil the demands of the lecturers. These include regularization of all Plus 2 In-charge lecturers, 40 percent quota in colleges, incentives in favour of lecturer having higher qualification like M Phil and Ph D.
Among others who spoke on the occasion included Tarsem Singh, Ashwani Sharma, B D Sharma, Suresh Kumar, Romesh Sharma, Talib Hussain, Pardeep Singh, Suresh Goria, Deepak Sharma and Kishore Sharma.
