Another regional film Gul, Gulshan, Gulfam readies to catch crowd from Dec 14

Jammu, Dec 11: As in recent past the regional cinema is preparing to get attention of crowd with Kugi Maar Duari followed by Reet from various production houses and the trend continued with now 'Gul, Gulshan Gulfam' Jawahar Kiran Motion Picture hitting the screens with first Dogri Kashmiri Film. The film is ready for release on December 14, 2012 at different multiplexes and a single screen in Jammu.
JK Motion Picture, owned by Jawahar Lal Razdan a production company at its toddler stage as it initially tried its hands through commercials and documentaries etc. And with the title 'Gul, Gulshan Gulfam' the production house aims to promote and glorify the cultural ethos and mesmerizing natural beauty of nature bestowed to the state of Jammu and Kashmir. With this venture the production house not only aimed to provide a window to the ethnic cultural values and the traditions at Indian market but also at International level.
Pertinently in its first ever venture the JK Motion Pictures (Production House) has come up with an initiative to showcase the Kashmiri as well as Dogri Culture together and this will be a first feature film with the combination of Kashmiri and Dogri culture and language. The Story and Screenplay is written by Indu Razdan while film has been directed by Sarfraz Alvi who already had been a part of many Bollywood films and is an experienced hand in motion picture.
"This film is youth oriented, based on the bond of friendship with a social message. Our state is diverse with different languages & cultures (Dogri, Kashmiri, Gojri, Ladakhi etc) but we are a good example of "Unity in Diversity" and that is the aim of the film. Ours is the first film. Ours is the first film of the state which is showcasing multiple cultures/ languages, as that is the fact, being into different cultures/languages we are so much bonded with each other, a press statement issued here today.
According to the plot of story Gul Gulshan Gulfam revolves around two childhood friends Gul and Gulfam, who got separated during violent activities which took place in Kashmir in early 90s.
Gulshan is a college friend of Gul, a local, the only person who understands Gul's pain. The story takes turn when Gulshan takes the initiative to take Gul to the valley and help him meet his childhood friend Gulfam. They put their efforts to the extremes but still they do not find Gulfam and they decided to leave back to Jammu. Now the climax is all about whether Gul forgets his childhood friend or still struggles with his old unforgettable memories.
The whole cast of the film is from Jammu & Kashmir which comprises of fresh talent with the support of experienced one, the statement said further adding that ours state is rich in talent but lacks in providing the platform to grow, so the production house with an aim to provide a platform to the talented people and to introduce them to the stardom.
Vijay Koul as Gul, Vikram Sharma as Gulshan and Arvin Tickoo as Gulfam have established and fitted equally to their respective characters. Besides them Seema Rajput and Bela Thappa in two lead females supported by Nazir Josh, Arjun Manhas, Nirmala Koul, Vinod Bhushan, Rashid Shenaz and others roles too have justified their roles. Further here to mention music of the film is being composed by Himanshu Joshi & Sumesh Vasudevan (Mumbai) whereas the lyrics has been done by PN Shaad & Rahul Arman, and the songs of the film bilingual i.e. the Dogri & the Kashmiri Language has been sung by non Kashmiri & non Dogri Singers thus making an attempt to show oneness in diversity.
