Jammu, Dec 24: Crime Branch, Jammu has registered a criminal Case FIR No.31/2012 u/s 420,465,467,468,471,120-B RPC r/w section 5(2) P.C Act Svt. 2006 against Pyare Lal S/o Pugani Ram R/o Sheetalgunj, Tehsil Safipur, District Nao, U.P at present Channi Kamala, Friends Colony, Trikuta Nagar Extension, Jammu and officials of Revenue Department, for their involvement in the offences of cheating, fraud, forgery and criminal conspiracy. Brief facts of the case are that a complaint was received from one Mohd. Sadiq S/o Saraj Din R/o Channi Kamala, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu wherein he had alleged that one Pyare lal S/o Pugani Ram R/o Sheetalgunj, Tehsil Safipur District Nao, U.P at present Channi Kamala, Friends Colony Trikutanagar Extension, Jammu in connivance with Revenue officials had managed a Permanent Resident Certificate by fraudulent means from the office of Deputy Commissioner, Jammu on the basis of which he had purchased a plot at Channi Kamala, Jammu and got the same mutated on his name. A formal case has been registered and investigation of the case is in progress. Moreover, the Crime Branch, Jammu has also produced challan in Case FIR No.30/2006 u/s 420,467,468,471,120-B/RPC r/w Section 5(2) P.C. Act Svt. 2006 registered in P/S Crime Branch, Jammu against the accused persons Shahzad Ahmed Salaria S/o Nazir Ahmed Salaria R/o Pandach, Srinagar at present Assistant Engineer R&B Division, Ganderbal, Kashmir and Ghulam Mohd. Malla S/o Ghulam Ahmed Malla R/o Qammarwari, Srinagar the then Tehsildar Ganderbal (now retired)in the Court of Special Judge Anti Corruption, Jammu today on 24.12.2012 for hatching criminal conspiracy and indulging in preparation of fake Scheduled Tribe (S.T) category certificate and getting undue promotion based on such fake category certificate. The next date of hearing in the case has been fixed on 04.02.2013.
