Jammu, Jan 2: A large number of people of Dansal Block headed by Balbir Singh, Vikram, Sobat Ali, Hussain Moha-mmad and Suresh joined Peoples Democratic Party in presence of party senior leaders Abdul Rashid Malik and Kuldeep Sharma in a function held in Khanpur Nagrota, a party statement said.
While welcoming the new entrants Malik alleged that the government has failed on all fronts to redress the miseries and difficulties of the people of the State. "Corruption and nepotism are on its peak and people are suffering badly due to non availability of essential commodities," he said.
Sharma urged the gathering to whole heartdly support the programmes and policies of PDP and strengthen the hands of PDP President Mehbooba Mufti "as she is the only bold, daring and dynamic leader of the State who can solve the problems of the common masses."
