| Jammu continues to shiver; Temperature 7 degrees below normal | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Jan 2: Jammu residents woke up to yet another chilly morning today with fog enveloping the winter capital and general visibility falling to less than 300 meters, which led to delay of trains. Minimum temperature dropped by 7 degrees Celsius from the normal. Poor visibility has thrown rail and road traffic completely out of gear. So far, almost all the trains were delayed by 1-12 hours. The cold weather has made the roads of the city deserted for entire day and the people were sitting in their home due to the extremely cold temperature. Some peoples were moving out, that too just because of their important work. Many people have tweeted and posted in social networking sites about the extremely cold day. However the weathermen have forecasts, ":-Mainly clear sky with fog/mist in the morning/evening. Maximum & Minimum temperatures will be around 11°c & 06°c respectively." "The fog and dry weather will continue for some more days, after that some western disturbance is expected," said Official of Met Department. The minimum temperature in Jammu was 7.3 degree Celsius and Maximum 12.8 degree Celsius.
