Protest demanding justice for Delhi gang rape victim held

Kathua, Jan 2: A large number of women and girls students under the banner of Youth Movement staged protest against the Delhi Gang Rape and urged the union government to frame a strong law to deal with crime against the women.
The protestors led by leadership of president of Youth Movement Sanjeev Verma, Bimla Sumbria and Neha Gupta demanded death penalty for those who committed gang rape upon 23 years old physiotherapist Damini in a moving bus on 16 December.
While addressing the protestors Bimla Sumbria and Neha Gupta urged the Prime Minister of India to come forward to frame a law to provide an exemplary rigorous punishment to those who commit heinous crime against the women in order to create a better social ambience for the women in the country. Meanwhile Youth Move-ment also appealed to all the women get united to fight for dignity and self respect and strengthen the voices for women security and dignity which are raised most probably after the sacrificing of Damini.
