| Jammu, Jan 6 : JKPPM a local outfit today demanded granting of Secheduled Tribe (ST) status to Pahari people in Jammu and Kashmir and threatened to launch a state-wide agitation if it was not done. "We demand grant of ST status to the Pahari people in the state as they are living in most remote and mountainous belts and are backward," Jammu and Kashmir Pahari Peoples Movement (JKPPM) leader M A Sagar told reporters. |
