early times report Jammu, Jan 6: Love is not an offence at all, but expressing it publicly in local transport is surely a matter of concern, as it affects the social and moral values. Couples, these days, can easily be seen in the minibuses of Jammu, embracing each other and fighting, irrespective of the fact that people of every age group travel in these minibuses. "It becomes a matter of big shame for me to watch such scenes whenever I' am traveling along with my kids or family," said Ashok Sharma, 43 a resident of Mast Garh, in a conversation with correspondent of Early Times, at Gole Market Mini Bus Stand. "The matter does affects the social values, and should be taken under concern by police itself," he added. No doubt, it gets safe in favor of the couples to date like this where they cannot be found by any of their relatives or family members but the question of the hour is that what impact it leaves on the kids and families, who have to watch this kind of romantic movies, with no exchange. "I feel like disgusted about such people, who forget their social values and get this much intimate in front of public," says Priyanka Gupta, 23, a student of Jammu University. "Dating is a thing to be done in privacy, not publicly," she added. A senior Police authority, when approached to take some action about the concerning issue, taking the matter off his head, blamed the media in-turn of playing a double game in favour of making News. "Its funny that only Media will get another issue to talk about if we arrest those couples," he alleged. "In any case if on-lookers feel disgusted or un-comfortable seeing this, they should bring the matter in the knowledge of Traffic Police," he added. But presuming what is gonig to happen before we even take some action against the problem itself would be like sitting idle and debarring yourself to sense anything around. This can never bring a change then, undoubtedly !
