Jammu, Jan 6 : MLA Domana Bharat Bhushan has said that the Sarpanches and Panches have very right to get each and every information from the Govt departments and officials are bond to provide. Speaking in a public meeting held at Palwal, Bharat Bhushan while reacting over the reported clash between Sarpanch and Tehsildar at Seri said that as many as 14 state Govt departments are came under the Panchayati Raj Institutions and they (Representatives) have very right to call upon the officials to provide possible information. He also asked the Govt officials to changeheir mindset in proper functioning of democratic institutions. However, he said that the Panches and Sarpanches are elected representatives of the people so they have mandate to reach out the public authorities and vice versa. While addressing the gathering, MLA said that being the representatives of the people MLA, Sarpanches and Panches have committed for the development of the areas and people. He on the occasion announced the construction of community hall, Park at Karvadha, old aged pension and others development works. Among others who were present on the occasion were Ashok Sharma Panch, Ashok Kumar Panch, Chatram Naib Panch, Balbir Kumar Panch, Narinder Singh, Sarpanch, Shri Kerni Sarpanch, Dalbir Singh Sarpanch, Capt K L Sharma Sarpanch, Shamsher Singh Sarpanch, Rajveer Singh Sarpanch, Raj Roop Singh Sarpanch, Paramjeet Singh Pamma, Bhopinder Singh, Askar Ali and Chita Khan. |
