EARLY TIMES REPORT Kathua, Jan 6: Young Panthers today held a meeting here under the chairmanship of state senior Vice-President Pushvinder Manhas in which the new recruitment policy was thoroughly discussed and it was unanimously decided that they will not allow this policy to be implemented. The district Kathua unit of Young Panthers assured the youth leaders of their full support and cooperation for the call of colleges boycott on January 8. The call to boycott colleges of Jammu province has been given by Pushvinder Manhas against the new recruitment policy announced by the state government and advertised vacancies on January 1.Speaking on the occasion, Manhas lambasted the state government for making the mockery of the youth of the state by announcing the policy "which will definitely give rise to the open corruption and exploitation of female employees." Meanwhile, Abhishek Sharma was nominated as Working President of Young Panthers and In-Charge NPSU (Kathua), Vikas Sudan (General Secretary, YP, Kathua), Anil Singh Andotra (Secretary, YP, Kathua), Deepak Singh (President, YP, Block Kathua), Didar Singh (General Secretary, YP, Block Barnoti) and Amit Sharma was promoted as Provincial Secretary of Young Panthers with the consent of State President Young Panthers Syed Rafiq Shah (MLC). Other prominent youth leaders who were present on the occasion included Ishan Raina, Sandeep Singh,Vikram Chandan, Naresh Singh Harillu, Ankush Sharma, Tarun Prashar, Parveen Kumar and Ankit Sharma. |
