Batwal Community to celebrate Guru Gyagi Jayanti on Feb 25

Jammu, Jan 6 : The Jammu and Kashmir Batwal Community will celebrate the 116th birthday of Sri Guru Gyagi Ji at Shahzadpur on February 25. To mark the important occasion, the Jammu and Kashmir Batwal Welfare Association and Guru Gyagi Foundation at their joint meeting held here today under the chairmanship of former MLA Sat Pal Lakhotra, joined hands to make the celebration a grand success and appointed Guru Gyagi Birthday Celebration Committee of twenty three members namely Ram Dass, Mela Ram, Kamal Chand, Gunni Ram, Om Parkash, Rashpal Chand, Kartar Chand, Narayan Dass, Ram Lal, Saran Dass, Amar Nath, Uttam Chand, Som Nath, Des Raj, Madan Raj, Baldev Chand, Punnu Ram, Chaman Lal, Dev Raj, Dass Ram, Rattan Lal, Rashpal-II and Chuni Lal. Association General Secretary R.L.Kaith said that the celebration would be organized on a grand and mammoth scale.
