| EJAC-Q declares issues protest calendar, asks CM to intervene | | | early times report Jammu, Jan 6: A high level meeting of J&K Empl-oyees Joint Action Comm-ittee under the presidentship of Abdul Qayoom Wani (Pres-ident EJAC-Q) was held at here today.. In the meeting all the participants/ leaders condemned the silent and deaf and Dumb attitude of the coalition government regarding the agreement reached between Govt. and Joint Consultative Com-mittee Leaders on the Justified demands of the employees. The demands which were agreed to by the government are: 1. Enhancement in the retirement age. 2. Confirmation of all daily rated workers casual labours 3. Pay anomaly in 6500 - 10500 (Pre - revised scale) 4. Pay anomaly of all clerical cadres, budgetary support to all PSU's issues and demands of ReT's , RRT'S &EVS and local body employees. In the meeting president EJAC and JCC leader Abdul Qayoom Wani asked the government to come up with the expectations of Govt. employees and honor the agreement otherwise Govt. Will have face the wrath of 4.5 Lacs employees all over the state observing pen down throughout the state on 8Th, 9Th and 10Th of Jan. 2013 besides holding mega demonstration in all the 22 Districts of the state on 8Th of Jan 2013 and on 10Th of Jan 2013. Big rallies and demonstrations will be held at provincial headquarters of Srinagar and Jammu. In the meeting Abdul Qayoom Wani appealed the Honorable Chief Minister for his personal intervention in resolving the issues keeping in view the sentiments of the employees and the sensitivity of the matter.
