JAMMU, Jan 17: The State Sports Council has reinstated the then incharge Indoor Complex, MA Stadium after the inquiry conducted found him innocent for his alleged involvement in unhealthy practices at the place of his positing. Subsequently, Ashok Singh has been made incharge manager of Mini Stadium, Parade in place of Naveen Sharma, who has been shifted to Bana Singh Stadium in R S Pura.
Giving a clean chit to Ashok Singh with regard to his involvement, the government order said that the period of his suspension be treated as duty subject to the attendance registered with the Sports Officer, Jammu. It is pertinent to mention here that on October 20 the then Minister for Sports, R S Chib had placed Ashok Singh under suspension for `negligence of duties'.s
