| Abandoned newly born female infant found in Kathua | | |
Kathua: In a bizarre incident just two days old baby girl was found alive at village Kharote, Kathua here today. The shocking incident which left civil society amazed and shocked took place back to back when a mutilated body of new born female baby was found at Patel Nagar Kathua.
Expressing concerns Sanjeev Verma, leader of Youth Movement and Nirdosh Sharma Congress leader said that this most heinous and barbaric act by those who left these two babies on road. Demanding action from the concerned agencies including Police, the duo urged the government to take strict action against those commit the heinous crime like female abortion or be a part of such crime. They also appealed to the people to work for the change in mental makeup towards the female and establish a social system in which the females and males would be treated equally.
Apart from this they said that selective sex abortion is high in Kathua and various hidden abortion centre are active in the Kathua which needed to be traced out and punished strictly. |
