JAMMU, Jan 17: A joint delegation of J&K College Teachers Association (JKCTA) led by Dr Avinash Kumar Gupta and Dr Tariq Ashai, Presidents of the Jammu & Kashmir wings of the Association, called on Mohd. Akbar Lone to hail his appointment as the new Minister for Higher Education.
While interacting with the college teachers, the minister elaborated on the measures he intends to initiate to further improve on the college education system and expected his department and the Teachers Association to symbiotically work for the betterment of the system.
The Association members assured the minister of their constructive support in his endeavors.
Other delegation members included Dr Satesh Bhan, General Secretary; Prof. Anjali Mahajan, Prof. R S Jamwal, Dr B K Gandhotra, Dr C K Khajuria, Dr Neeraj Gupta, Dr S K Dhar and Dr Rajinder Sharma.
