| Bovine smuggling bid foiled | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Kathua, Jan 17: Police claimed to have foiled a bovine smuggling bid with the seizure of 13 bovine while the manhunt is on to nab the accrued who managed to give slip to the police party. According to police sources, Police team of Police Post Nagri acting on specific information laid down a naka at Ujh River near Pandori and seized 13 Bovine which were being taken to Punjab State illegally on foot. However on seeing the police naka two persons namely Mohd Hanief s/o Ibrahim r/o Jarmal Tehsil and District Kathua and Ali Hussain s/o Noor Hussain r/o Jugain Tehsil and District Kathua managed to escape from the spot leaving behind Bovine animals. A man hunt has been launched to arrest the accused. A case FIR No. 16/2013 U/S 188 RPC stands registered at P/S Kathua. |
