Shiksha Niketan School celebrates Gurupurab 1/18/2013 12:40:17 AM early times report Jammu, Jan 17: Students of Guru Nanak House Shiksha Niketan Sr. Secondary School today celebrated Guru Gobind Singh birth anniversary with religious fervor and gaiety in the school premises. Serene, soothing and pacified atmosphere was created by the recitation of the Gurbani by the budding students of the school. The students also delivered speeches on the life and teachings of the Great Guru. It was really an appealing programme that captured the concentration of the audience & left them spell bound. Finally, Rameshwar Mengi, the Principal of the school, greeted and congratulated all the students and staff on this auspicious celebration. He spoke about the need of inculcation of values professed by the Great Guru. He contributed Rs 500 visa.vis. the occasion and also applauded the teachers and students for their contribution towards the program.
