Stolen vehicle recovered

KISHTWAR, Jan 20 : Kishtwar police today recovered a stolen Bolero vehicle from Sarkoot area during wee hours of this morning.
According to police, Bolero bearing registration number JK02AH-5273 owned by Airtel mobile company was stolen from outside Sangrabata Kishtwar on Friday when the driver of the vehicle parked it there.
As soon as the police received the complaint about theft of Bolero vehicle from outskirts of Kishtwar town, it swung into action and laid Nakkas at various places.
Keeping in view of pressure exerted by the police, the thieves involved behind the theft left the vehicle abandoned at Sarkoot village of Kishtwar and was sighted by constable Jaffar Hussain of DSB branch Kishtwar who brought the matter into the notice of higher ups and accordingly the police took the custody of vehicle and handed over the same to the complainant. SHO Police Station, Kishtwar Mushtaq Ahmed confirmed the recovery of the vehicle and said that the investigation is on to identify the culprits involved behind the theft.
