| Shagotra distributes blankets among distressed | | 'Rahul Gandhi is keen to uplift down trodden' | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Jan 20: Vice President J&K Pradesh Youth Congress (PYC) Pranav Shagotra distributed blankets and other materials among the distressed and cold-stricken people in Bawe Wali Gali area of Jammu East Assembly constituency.
Shagotra was the chief guest of the distribution programme which was arranged by State President Youth Indian National Trade Union Congress (INTUC) Prikshit and youth leaders Dansih Mir, Arif Wani, Adil Khan and Manjeet Singh.
On the occasion, PYC Vice President Shagotra accompanied by General Secretary, PYC Abid Kashmiri also listened to the problems being faced by the locals and assured that the same will be projected before the concerned authorities for their redressal.
Speaking on the occasion, Shagotra said that Congress party is aware about the sufferings of the people and is committed for the betterment and welfare of "Aam Admi". He said that the Congress party in general and Rahul Gandhi in particular are very keen to uplift the down trodden and distressed people. He said that in future more such welfare programmes will be organized. |
