| Two vehicle lifters held in Kathua | | |
KATHUA, Jan 22: Police has claimed to have apprehended two motor cycle lifters with the recovery of stolen vehicle. According to police, during course of investigation of case registered against FIR No 145/2012 U/S 379 RPC P/S Billawar one suspect namely Dwarka Parshad S/O Khem Raj R/O Dholti Rajbagh District Kathua was rounded up and subjected to questioning. On his disclosure, one Motorcycle No JK02S-4342 (Passion) was recovered. The said bike owned by Rajesh Gupta S/O Shambu Dutt R/O Khog Tehsil Billawar which was stolen from Khog area on this Jan 7.and a case against FIR No 02/2013 U/S 379 RPC P/S Billawar stands registered also, police said. Police further added, further on his disclosure of said suspect, another suspect namely Neeraj Sharma S/O Rajinder Kumar R/O W.No. 3 Rajbagh was rounded up from Dayala Chak area of Tehsil Hiranagar. "During his questioning, suspect Neeraj Sharma disclosed to have stolen motor cycle. The Police also succeeded in recovering the said motor cycle from his possession which was required in case FIR No.145/2012 of P/S Billawar.
