JAMMU, Jan 22: A team of 30 State Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) members led by State President Jugal Kishore Sharma left today for New Delhi to participate in election to the National President of BJP. Prominent members who left include Som Raj Khajuria, Vibodh Gupta, Sanjiv Sharma and Subash Bhagat, who are a part of the electoral college for the organizational election at National level. It is pertinent to mention that organizational election of BJP are held every three years and the election of the national president at the national level is held only after the conclusion of the organizational elections at the state levels across the country. |
