Insurance employees observes one hour walkout strike

Jammu, Jan 22: Demanding implementation of their long pending demands the Insurance Employees have observed one hour walkout strike, here today.
As per press release, the work in LIC and GIC offices across the state remained affected due to one hour strike on Tuesday.
Addressing the employees during strike, D O cell, Jammu Comrade Pawan Gupta demanded, "One more option for pension scheme 1995 and improvement in the scheme, scheme of up gradation of RPTs in LIC of India and recognition of all India Insurance Employees association in LIC."
Meanwhile, Comrade Dileep Koul said that AIIEA in LIC represent nearly 85 per cent of class-3rd and 4thinsurance employees and not giving recognition to it is a gross injustice and illogical and stressed upon the LIC management to consider this genuine demand. In his address Comrade Pawan Gupta said that regular part time employees have given their life to the industry and to award them, scheme for their up gradation must come at the earliest.
