KATHUA, Jan 23: The combined side of Post Graduate (PG) Departments of University of Jammu shall be playing against Government Degree College (GDC) Hiranagar to defend the inter-college men's volleyball tournament trophy being hosted by GDC Kathua, here tomorrow.
Earlier, in the semifinals, played today, GDC Kathua lost to their counterparts from GDC Hiranagar in straight sets while PG Departments defeated fighting side of GDC Akhnoor by three sets to one. Today's semifinals were officiated by the penal of technical officials including Mulkh Raj Sharma, Roshan Sharma, Balwinder Singh Jamwal, Sanjeev Singh, Mohinder Sharma, Madan Lal, Mandeep Singh and Pankaj Sploia. The semifinal was witnessed besides others by retired Deputy Commissioner Customs and Excise, Toofan Sharma, retired SP, Sardar Khan and Dr C P Sharma. Also present were senior Professors of the host GDC Kathua, Dr. Janak Singh Andotra, Prof. PK Rao, Prof. Sumanesh, Prof. Jasvinder Singh, Prof. Shub Kumar, Prof. Sunil Dutt, Prof. Devinder Kumar Sharma and Dr. RK Manhas.
