JAMMU, Jan 23: Title holders, Government College for Women (GCW) Gandhi Nagar shall be playing against last year's runners-up in the final of the inter-college women's volleyball tournament, organised by the Department of Sports, University of Jammu, here tomorrow. Earlier, in the semifinals, played today, GCW Gandhi Nagar outplayed GCW Parade 2-1 (25-10, 25-10, 25-08). Bindu Verma and Bharti Devi played superb game from winners Gandhi Nagar College while Meenu Rajput and Jigmit of Parade fought well.
In another semifinal, the combined side of PG Departments reached the final on getting walkovers. Now, the final shall be played on January 28 at 11 am. Today's semifinal was officiated by Romesh Sharma, Shashi Sharma, Manisha Devi and Ashima Sharma as also Sat Paul.
