| CEO ERA visits STP, directs consultant for early completion | | | Early Time Report
Jammu, Jan 23: Chief Executive Officer, Economic Reconstruction Agency (ERA), Saurabh Bhagat today reviewed Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) and directed the consultant to complete the work by March 15. As per official spokesperson, 30 MLD STP at Bhagwati Nagar Jammu is coming up at a cost of Rs. 28.61 Crore with ADB assistance.
He also directed the consultant to start house connection by March 31 after completion of balance sewer network.
He visited sewer network projects and was apprised by the consultant that 106 km of sewer network out of total 146 km stands completed. He was apprised that house connection survey work is presently under progress and house connections will be provided to all households in phased manner within project area free of cost which is a unique feature of this ADB funded project.
Bhagat was accompanied by Project Manager J. G. Mengi, Dy. Project Manager, Dr Sanjeev Chadha and Consultant, Team Leader R N Verma.
