JAMMU, Jan 23: During a week long tour of Kalakote constituency, Er. Abdul Ghani Kohli visited the areas like Khandarian, Kalar, Jugrial, Saranoo, Bandhari, Chatiar and Magla. A large number of people at these places joined Congress and expressed their faith in the party. The prominent who joined the Congress party are Madam Prabha Devi (Naib Sarpanch), Thakur Surjit Singh, Rohit Kumar, Chander Pal Sharma, Chokiwar Mangal Singh, Madam Rita (Naib Sarpanch), Jamila Begum (Panch), Ramesh Sharma, Abdul Jameel, Baldev Raj, Madam Jatti Devi (Panch), Subash Chander, Muneer Hussian, Chudh Singh, Manzoor Ahmed (Panch), Missar Khan, Mohd Sadik, Mohd. Aslarn along with their hundreds of supporters.At Panchyat Ladoot, all the 8 Panchs joined Congress besides Ch. Abdul Hak, Ex. Sarpanch of Ladoot along with his supporter also joined the party. A series of public meetings were held at different places of Kalakote wherein the locals raised the issues of water and power supply. |
