| Youth Movement demands "Right to Work" | | | early times report Kathua, Jan 23: Youth Movement and Nature-Mankind Friendly Global Movement today demanded incorporation of "Right to Work" as fundamental right in the Constitution of India to provide the permanent economic security of all the unemployed youth of the country. The Movement also urged the state government to open the locking of bifurcation of new ration cards, to ease the PRC preparation, to frame solid policy for the private school teachers, to enhance the unemployment allowance upto Rs 3000 to Rs 4500 with the extension of period from three years to five years by bringing some effective amendments in the Sher-e-Kashmir Unemployment allowance. Youth Movement's President Sanjeev Verma and Global Movement's President Sahib Singh expressed concern over future of the youth who are forced to face the severe economic crisis due to growing unemployment and shrinking of resources of employment both in state and across the country. They said that the teachers are working in private high schools, higher secondary school and other private institutions at meagre salary. Verma termed it is the exploitation and said it must be finished. "In this direction the state government should take immediate and serious steps to increase the salary of private school teachers. And Right to Work should be incorporated as fundamental right through which that can ensure the guarantee of economic security in order to protect the future of youth of the nation," he added. |
