| Madan for restoration of water , power in border districts | | | early times report
NEW DELHI, Jan 23: Member Parliament Jammu Poonch Constituency Madan Lal Sharma appealed to the state government and District Administration of Rajouri, Poonch to immediately support the people in snow bound areas of Rajouri, Poonch.
Sharma asked the officers to expedite work for early restoration of Power and water supply in the area, as in many areas people are still looking for restoration of power and water supply in these extreme cold weather conditions. He appealed the CAPD department to supply extra kerosene and ration on BPL rates even free in the most affected areas till the system is brought to order. Sharma asked the Deputy Commissioners of Rajouri and Poonch to make fool proof disaster management plan with provision of dealing with snow, heavy rains and snow avalanches and store things to meet any future eventuality.
He also asked the officers to organize mock trials to check the lacking if any in the plan to improve accordingly.
