| Jammu Mahanagar BJP holds introduction meet of new team | | |

JAMMU, Jan 23: After the constitution of its new team, Jammu Mahanagar BJP under its District President Rajesh Gupta held meeting for a formal introduction besides discussing the scheduled country-wide district level protests against the statement of Union Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde tomorrow.
The meeting which held in presence of the State General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Koul, who on the occasion, congratulated the members of the new team and said that the Jammu Mahanagar BJP has more responsibility due to its being in winter capital of the state.
He said that the new team has a blend of old and new faces, where the new ones should avail the benefits of past experience of the old ones.
Koul expressed hope that the district unit will come up to the expectations of the state leadership in the days to come by its working.
Rajesh Gupta, who also headed the previous team of Jammu district as its president, said that the party has once again reposed faith in him by bestowing the same responsibility.
He said that the immediate programme for the district is to organize protest tomorrow against the irresponsible statement by the Union Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde.
He said that under party's nation-wide programme, Jammu Mahanagar BJP will sit on protest dharna at Pt. Prem Nath Dogra Chowk and appealed the party activists and the general public to reach there and join BJP.
