EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Feb 12 : Members of All J&K Stationery & Office Supplies Department Employees Association held a meeting under the leadership of Babu Hussain Malik, President of the Association in which the members deliberated upon issues pertaining to the employees in State. Members urged to make Jammu Chalo Convention on tomorrow (Feb 13) a grand success. While addressing senior leaders namely Seva Ram, Uday Singh Pathania, Veerji Koul, Dwarka Nath, Dalip Singh, Mohd Shafiq, Kuldeep Kumar, Jatwant Singh, Mohd Hussain, Dina Nath, S.S Pathania and others also highlighted the problems being faced by state government employees after the state government took U Turn from its commitment made on 10-03-2008, 19-02-2009, 14-05-2010 & 15-09-2011. During these meeting the government representatives assured the respective employees delegations to fulfill all the pending demands of the employees including removal of Pay anomalies of Clerical cadre but nothing has been done till date and described the Clerical employees. Speaking on the occasion Babu Hussain Malik urged all the state government employees to attend one day 'Jammu Chalo Convention' on 13-02-2013 at Guru Ravi Dass Sabha, Jammu the call for which is given by EJAC (R) & JKSRTC Union. Besides Babu Hussain Malik, others speakers highlighted the pending demands including Removal of Pay Anomalies of Clerical cadre and reorganization of clerical cadre to streamline the promotion avenues of the cadre. Others demands projected by employees include Regularization Daily Wagers engaged after 1994, Enhancement of retirement age from 58 to 60 years, hike in medical allowance and to open Stationery Depots in all newly created districts of the State. |
