JAMMU, Feb 12: The office bearers of Jammu and Kashmir Softball Association convened a meeting here today under the Chairmanship of General Secretary, JK Softball Asscoication, C. L. Bhat, to condole the demise of G. M. Dar, President, J&K Softball Association and Vice President of Softball Association of India. Late Dar was also Advisor to School Games Federation of India. Speaking on the occasion, the association lauded the role of Dar in the field of sports who served at various levels in the department of youth Services and Sports with extraordinary managerial qualities. They also remembered the valuable contribution of Late Dar in promoting sports in general and softball game in particular. He was man of outstanding prudence and knowledge who devoted all his time to channelize the energy of youth in right perspective. The association expressed sympathies with the bereaved family and prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul. The Members present in the condolence meeting included Vice- President, JK Softball Association . Abdul Rehman, Padam Dev Singh, Abdul Ahad, Rajinder Koul, Avtar Krishen and Virander.
