Jammu, Feb 14: Youth All India Kashmiri Samaj (YAIKS) today urged that political parties contesting elections should categorically mention in their election manifesto as to what space they would provide to the displaced Community if return to power. According to a press statement issued today from spokesperson YAIKS, the political parties should have ambiguity with regard to the steps they would take for the honorable return of the community with regard to the steps they would take for the return of the community to Kashmir valley. "We want to make it clear to the all political parties that in case of no mention of such a thing in their respective election manifestos, we will be forced to ask the displaced community not to vote for any such political party, not making a mention of this, it added. The spokesperson said, "Election Commission of India should device a foolproof method to ensure any person who had to leave Kashmir owing to terrorism and is an eligible voter is included in the voters list of the constituency which the individual belongs to. "The voters list thus prepared should be displayed at all the offices of the migrant Zonal officers and in the government websites, it added. |
