Jammu, Feb 14: Saraswati Pooja was held in UP Higher Secondary School, Channi Himmat in which staff and children of the school participated. It may be to recall that in Indian ethos, Maa Saraswati known as the Goddess of learning. In educational institutes the day breaks with Saraswati Vandana, the hymns sang in the praise of Maa Saraswati.
Speaking on the occasion Rajani Sharma Principal of the school laid stress on the importance of the day. She said that Maa Sarawati showers her blessings on those who work hard towards their goal without thinking of the result. In the same way she advised the students to work hard in these days of exams to pass with flying colour.
Students must avoid those, who are working for the disintegration of the society, She added. She asked the students to work for the unity and integrity of India. She concluded with the words that the purpose of the pooja on Saraswati day shall be achieved if children start understanding the difference between good and bad. Prominent among others were Anil Sharma Vice Principal, Sarika Sharma Secretary, Jyoti Gupta Coordinator of the school. Students who supported the programme were Ayush, Dhixit, Aman and Dhruv. Preeti Bhoj was also arranged for the students by the school management. |
